HALLY’GRAIN "Reconnu Saveur de l’année" for the third time in a row
The success of the French product HALLY’GRAIN is not abating: just recently, the mix from IREKS-FRANCE, with which the speciality bread with the same name is made in French bakeries, was awarded the seal of approval “Reconnu Saveur de l’année” for the third time in a row for the year 2010. This label, which can be translated as being the “Recognized Taste of the Year”, is very well known by the French consumers and is also very highly appreciated. Independent surveys show that many consumers allow this to influence what they wish to purchase. | | The procedure for awarding the “Reconnu Saveur de l’année” is as follows: The products are tested individually one after another by at least 120 jury members and evaluated. Anyone is allowed to take part in the tasting. It is only necessary to write to the laboratories or register in the Internet. Everything which could point to the respective brand name of the products is removed in advance. It is guaranteed that all the products are eaten under the same conditions as regards temperature, amount and container. The criteria for evaluation are taste, smell, appearance and texture. Each product has to fulfil two requirements: it has to achieve the predefined minimum score and it has to be the best in its category. For this reason, there are also not prize winners every year in all categories, as sometimes no product achieves the minimum score. As a result of its high objectivity, the “Reconnu Saveur de l’année”“ is often referred to as the “reflection of the voice of the consumers”. |
