1 Scope
This data protection information applies to individuals who participate in a survey by means of the online survey tool “LimeSurvey”, hereinafter “survey tool”, of the company IREKS GmbH, and to the personal data that is processed by this survey tool. IREKS GmbH is the operator of the survey tool on IT systems of IREKS GmbH; LimeSurvey GmbH is the manufacturer of this software.

4 Handling of your data
4.1 Personal data
In accordance with Article 4 of GDPR, personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more personal factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
4.2 Usage data
When participating in a survey, the following data is stored on a server of IREKS GmbH in Germany:
• First name
• Surname
• Email address
• IP address of the participating computer (client)
• Survey responses
All personal data and responses to the survey questions are deleted 30 days after completion of the survey.
IREKS GmbH can be commissioned as a subcontractor by companies affiliated with IREKS GmbH to provide the survey tool to the companies affiliated with IREKS GmbH as an IT service. In this case, a data processing agreement designated for this purpose exists, or with respect to third countries, an agreement based on standard EU contract clauses between the ordering party and IREKS GmbH as the contractor or data processor since in this case, IREKS receives data from the controller and processes it and then makes it available to the processor within the scope of the agreement.
IREKS GmbH does not disclose any usage data to third parties or perform any alignments with other databases that exceed the foregoing. Furthermore, no forwarding to third countries exceeding the foregoing takes place.
We may carry out fully anonymized surveys. We point this out prior to the start of the survey. In these cases, no personal data is stored.
4.3 Purposes and legal bases
We process your data in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
• on the basis of your consent (Article 6 Para 1 (a) of GDPR):
Data processing shall only be carried out if consent has been given for processing personal data for the purposes of conducting a survey.
• for the purposes of legitimate interests (Article 6 Para 1 (f) of GDPR):
Based on weighing of interests, data processing may be carried out by us for the purposes of legitimate interests. One example for data processing for the purposes of legitimate interests would be: survey on customer satisfaction for the purposes of improving service to our customers.
5 Your rights
As a user of our platform you have various rights against IREKS in particular based on Articles 15 through 18 and Article 21 of GDPR:
5.1 Right to information
In accordance with Article 15 of GDPR you can request information from us about personal data concerning you that we are processing. In your request for information you should define your request precisely to make it easier for us to provide the required data and avoid questions for clarification.
5.2 Right of rectification
If data concerning you is not (no longer) accurate you have the right to request rectification in accordance with Article 16 of GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you have the right to request its completion.
5.3 Right of erasure
In accordance with the conditions of Article 17 of GDPR you have the right to erasure of your personal data.
5.4 Right to restrict processing
Within the scope of the provisions of Article 18 of GDPR you have the right to request restriction of processing of data concerning you.
5.5 Right to object
In accordance with Article 21 of GDPR you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you. However, we cannot comply or only to a limited extent with this request should any statutory provisions conflict with it.
5.6 Right to lodge a complaint
If you are of the opinion that we have infringed data protection regulations when processing your data, you have the right in accordance with Article 77 of GDPR to lodge a complaint with the corresponding supervisory authority.

5.7 Withdrawal of consent
Where collection or processing of your personal data is based on consent in accordance with Article 7 of GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, effective as of the date of withdrawal. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
