Managing Director Olaf Lewe deceased
We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our Managing Director Olaf Lewe at the age of 56.
Mr Lewe was torn from active life in June by a very serious illness from which he never recovered.
Since joining our Company Group in 2017, Mr Lewe was initially responsible for the management of the controlling department and was appointed as Managing Director of IREKS GmbH in 2022, where he lead the entire internal and external accounting department until he fell ill.
During all these years, he initiated and actively supported many projects to further advance our Company Group. In addition, he successfully served as Managing Director of our soft ice cream division and held mandates on the boards of various subsidiaries of the IREKS Group in Germany and abroad.
We will remember Mr Lewe fondly as a very committed and dynamic Managing Director with a wealth of experience. He leaves behind a painful gap.
Until further notice, Mr Lewe’s diverse tasks will be continued jointly and with great commitment by his team and the management.
