In the production of baking ingredients, the reliable and gentle transport of raw materials such as flour, starch or grain is of crucial importance. By purchasing four new ZE VSD low-pressure compressors from Atlas Copco, we were able to make this process significantly more efficient. The installations supply large volumes of air at low pressure and are specially designed for applications where a stable low pressure is sufficient. At the same time, they are characterised by particularly high energy efficiency.
Another advantage is the oil-free compressed air, which reliably supports compliance with our strict hygiene and quality standards. Thanks to control in line with demand, around 90,000 kWh of electricity can be saved each year. In addition, the great flexibility of the compressors enables optimum adaptation to different raw materials and production requirements. Overall, the new technology makes an important contribution to the sustainable and efficient conveying of raw materials.
