Extension of membership in the Umwelt- und Klimapakt Bayern (Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact)
IREKS GmbH has been participating in the Umwelt- und Klimapakt Bayern (Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact) since 2007. Due to the high significance of these topics for our company and the associated commitment, this membership has been extended until 2024.
The Umwelt- und Klimapakt Bayern (Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact) is an initiative of the Bayerische Staatsregierung (Bavarian State Government) and pursues the goal of motivating businesses, companies and state institutions to provide voluntary environmental performance. Participation in the Umwelt- und Klimapakt Bayern (Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact) is open to all Bavarian companies and businesses, regardless of size. The prerequisite: active environmental protection that goes beyond the legal requirements
At IREKS, a particular example of this is our commitment to energy management. Since 2012, IREKS GmbH has therefore been certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001 energy management, not least to demonstrate our commitment to our customers and business partners. Our energy management starts with the optimisation of processes and facilities, continues with the use of our own combined heat and power plants and finally ends with every individual. Through an established suggestion scheme for improvements, all employees can contribute to the conservation of valuable resources.
