Our trainees once again fired up the ovens for the upcoming Easter celebrations this year. They gave the children and young people at the Geschwister-Gummi-Stiftung (charitable foundation) in Kulmbach a special treat with homemade Easter nests.
An Easter celebration needs traditional Easter baked goods! That’s what our trainees thought and got to work. With the aim of bringing joy to the children and young people of the Geschwister-Gummi-Stiftung, they baked braided Easter nests from yeast dough under the expert guidance of the IREKS Baking Academy team. A total of over 70 baked goods were created, which were lovingly decorated and packaged for Easter. The trainees were visibly proud to present the small gifts to the Geschwister-Gummi-Stiftung, represented by Managing Director Hans-Georg Müller and Kevin Lamour, Director of the “Kinderhaus Sternstunden”. They expressed their thanks on behalf of the children and young people living in the foundation’s residential groups, who are aged between 1 and 18.
