FSSC stands for “Food Safety System Certification” and is based on the international standard ISO 22000. For many years now, our food safety management system for the production of baking ingredients and malts has been certified in accordance with recognised and current food safety standards of the Global Food Safety Initiative.
Our quality management system has been certified according to ISO 9001 since 1995. This includes the development, manufacture and distribution of baking ingredients and malts for brewing.
Our ISO 50001 certified energy management system is the basis for efficient energy consumption as well as a continuous improvement process covering all divisions of our company.
The visible sign of our organic quality is the certification by an independent Organic Control Body (DE-ÖKO-001). Our organic products are currently produced in accordance with the strict requirements of Regulations (EC) No 834/2007 and (EC) No 889/2008 and will be produced in future in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1165.
In addition to these and other product- or country-related certifications, which we will be happy to provide on request, we also set out the high standards we demand of ourselves in our business policy, which forms the basis for our daily work.
