Managing Director Lutz Hager has retired
From trainee to Managing Director – Lutz Hager, Managing Director of IREKS GmbH and holder of numerous other mandates in our IREKS Group, has followed this extraordinary career path in 48 years at IREKS. As of December 31 2023, he has gone into his well-deserved retirement.
Immediately after his training as an industrial clerk, which Lutz Hager began at IREKS in 1975 and completed as the best in his year, the course for his professional career was set with his work in accounting. The following period was characterised by further training. In 1983, he successfully completed the exam to become a certified management accountant as well as further training in tax and accounting law. After part-time studies at the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie (administration and economic academy), he finally passed the examination to become a Diplom-Betriebswirt (VWA) (graduate business economist). Mr Hager was given full power of attorney in 1991, taking over the management of the accounting department.
He successively received numerous national and international mandates in our Company Group, in particular for our subsidiaries in Austria, Hungary and Russia, for IRUSO and DREIDOPPEL as well as for various management companies. In 2013, Lutz Hager was appointed Managing Director of Finance and has been instrumental in developing the division ever since. His thoroughness, unconditional reliability, distinctive leadership qualities and loyalty to our company have always characterized him.
The shareholders, Supervisory Board, Management as well as our employees would like to thank Mr Hager for his outstanding commitment, his contributions to the further development of our company and his great personal dedication to our family of companies over the past 48 years.
We are very pleased that Mr Hager will continue to support the IREKS Group in various functions with his expertise and his enormous wealth of experience and wish him all the best and sound health for the future.
